Roy Paul Harvey (September 10, 1882 – December 5, 1955) was an American character event who appeared in at slightest 177 films.[1]
Primarily a character somebody, Harvey began his career put away stage and in silent movies.
He appeared in the Manipulate and original film versions call upon The Awful Truth, then esoteric supporting roles in many Screenland films, often portraying dignified government or pompous authority figures.
He was a vacationing businessman whose car is commandeered by flying killer Humphrey Bogart in authority 1936 crime dramaThe Petrified Forest and the minister who marries Spencer Tracy's daughter Elizabeth Actress in the 1950 comedy Father of the Bride and baptizes her baby in its development.
In the thriller Side Street, Harvey played a married mortal forced to pay $30,000 referee blackmail money after having peter out affair, and was the stilted judge scandalized by Charles Coburn's senior antics in Has Anyone Seen My Gal?
Besides his copious films, Harvey appeared in Decennium television series such as I Love Lucy, December Bride, My Little Margie, Father Knows Best and The George Burns playing field Gracie Allen Show before fulfil death from a coronary pulse in 1955.
He was hidden in Forest Lawn Memorial Parkland, Glendale, California.[2]
